Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms and Conditions are intended to define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, service conditions, and procedures between Misoa Co., Ltd. ("Company") and users in connection with the use of the location-based services ("Location Services") provided by the Company. These Terms shall be governed by the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information.

Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms)
1. These Terms apply to all users who wish to use the Service.
2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
3. Any amendments will be announced through the Service or by email at least seven (7) days before taking effect.
4. Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may discontinue use of the Location Services.

Article 3 (Definitions)
1. "Location Information" means information regarding the location at which a movable object or individual exists or has existed at a specific time.
2. "Personal Location Information" means location information relating to a specific individual.
3. "Location-Based Services" means services provided using location information, including nearby holy site search and pilgrimage route guidance.
4. "Records of Use and Provision of Location Information" means records maintained regarding the collection, use, and provision of location information in accordance with applicable law.

Chapter 2. Description of Location-Based Services

Article 4 (Service Details)
1. Nearby Holy Site Search: Provides a list of nearby Catholic holy sites and detailed information based on the user's current location.
2. Pilgrimage Route Guidance: Provides optimal pilgrimage route search and navigation between a starting point and destination.
3. Distance and Travel Time Information: Provides the distance and estimated travel time from the user's current location to each holy site.
4. Nearby Convenience Information: Provides information on nearby accommodations, restaurants, transportation, and other facilities.
5. Map-Based Holy Site Display: Displays holy sites on a map and visualizes them using clustering technology.

Article 5 (Service Fees)
The Location Services are provided free of charge. However, data communication charges shall be subject to the user's mobile carrier plan.

Chapter 3. Collection and Use of Location Information

Article 6 (Collection of Location Information)
1. The Company collects the following location information with the user's consent:
- GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude)
- Wi-Fi connection information
- Automatically collected when using location-based functions
2. Users may refuse to provide location information through device settings, in which case certain Location Services may be restricted.

Article 7 (Use and Provision of Location Information)
1. The Company uses collected location information only for:
- Holy site and pilgrimage route guidance
- Route search and map services
- Service improvement and statistical analysis (after de-identification)
2. The Company does not provide personal location information to third parties without the user's consent.
3. Prior consent will be obtained if location information is used for purposes other than those stated above or provided to a third party.
4. The Company may use third-party map APIs, such as Kakao Maps and Google Maps API, and location information may be transmitted to those providers as necessary.
5. When personal location information is provided to a third party designated by the user, the Company will immediately notify the user of the recipient, date/time, and purpose of provision.
6. Exceptions apply where notification is requested through another device or email address, or where the original device cannot receive notifications.

Article 8 (Retention and Use Period)
1. Location information is retained only for the minimum period necessary to provide the service.
2. Real-time location information is deleted immediately after service use and is not stored.
3. Where retention is required by law, information will be retained for the legally required period.

Article 9 (Retention of Records)
The Company automatically records and retains records of the use and provision of location information for six (6) months in accordance with applicable law.

Chapter 4. User Rights

Article 10 (User Rights)
1. Users may withdraw consent to the collection of location information at any time.
2. Users may temporarily suspend use of the Location Services at any time.
3. Users may request access to or notification of their personal location information held by the Company.
4. Users may request correction of inaccurate personal location information.
5. A legal guardian may exercise consent rights on behalf of a child under 14 years of age.

Article 11 (Protection of Children Under Eight and Other Protected Persons)
The Company obtains consent from legal guardians when processing location information of children under eight, adult wards, or certain individuals with mental disabilities as defined by law.

Article 13 (Damages)
Users may claim damages if they suffer losses due to the Company's violation of applicable location information laws.

Article 14 (Disclaimer)
The Company shall not be liable where service disruption is caused by force majeure, third-party interference, user fault, or other circumstances beyond the Company's control.

Chapter 6. Dispute Resolution

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)
Users may apply for mediation through relevant Korean dispute resolution authorities regarding disputes related to location information.

Article 16 (Jurisdiction)
Any litigation arising from these Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court having authority over the location of the Company's head office.
